Aesthetic Cosmetic Injections

Thrive Health Solutions is a DIAMOND provider of Botox® and Dysport® Injectable Cosmetics as well as Juvederm® and Restylane® cosmetic fillers.

Botox is mainly used to treat “dynamic wrinkles” which are lines created by the movement of muscles. It can also be used to add arch to eyebrows, ease lines around the mouth, and give the corners of the mouth lift. Thrive’s level 4 practitioner in DTC South is nationally certified and trained in Botox cutting edge injection techniques.

The most common areas where Botox® is used are:

  • Glabella – the area in between the eyebrows
  • Forehead
  • Crows Feet
  • Lower Face

Dysport is also an injectible botulinum toxin used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe wrinkles. Dysport is was introduced in the spring of 2009, and was developed to compete with the highly popular Botox® Cosmetic. The dose of Dysport is not the same as or comparable to the dose of any other botulinum toxin product, making it a more cost effective alternative.

The product is derived from botulinum toxin, and works by blocking nerve signals that direct facial muscles to contract during facial expressions. When muscles are prevented from contracting, the lines and folds in the skin’s surface are prevented from forming. Dysport can be used to treat any dynamic wrinkle, but the most common areas for treatment are:

  • Glabella – the area in between the eyebrows
  • Forehead
  • Crows Feet

When you visit Thrive for Botox® or Dysport® the first time, we will always have you come back for a 2-week follow up to ensure you have achieved the best results possible.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers are used to literally “fill” skin that has lost tissue volume. The new fillers are made of natural ingredients such as calcium and hyalronic acid.

Our level 4 Practitioner is experienced in using dermal fillers in aesthetics, and in advanced injection techniques.

Some of the more popular brands of dermal fillers include:

  • Restylane®
  • Juvéderm®

Our Practitioner will help you decide which filler will best suit your needs. Fillers normally last 6-18 months, depending on the individual.

The most common areas where filler is used are:

  • Nasal labial folds – the lines from the corners of your nose to the corners of your mouth
  • Marrionette lines – lines from the corners of your mouth that run toward your chin
  • Cheeks
  • Lips
  • Facial wrinkles
  • Vertical lip lines
  • Corners of the mouth

During your consultation, our practitioner will thoroughly explain the benefit of dermal fillers and if they are applicable to your specific needs.
